  • The return of Nokia smart phones in 2017

    Nokia has revealed they are making an appearance at the Mobile World Congress event between February 27 to March 2nd 2017, suggesting the return of Nokia.

    The release of a new Nokia smart phone is definitely on the cards. Something that is being highly spoken about is the unveil of not one, but two smart phones in the up and coming months of 2017. The first is supposedly landing just before Christmas arrives.

    What happened to Nokia in the first place?

    Back in 2014, Nokia sold their mobile device company to Microsoft and ever since their devices were known as Lumia. Changes to Microsoft means that they are now leaving the mobile market and Nokia is set to return. Hence the return of the famously loved Nokia phones.

    Motorola are back in the smart phone game. The Moto Z Force Droid is known to be the upgrade of the Moto Z, with improvements in software and design quality.

  • Apple launches iPad Air and iPad mini with retina display


    US technology giant Apple is preparing to launch its new range of iPad tablets to compete with recently-released rivals, it has emerged.

    The company sent out invitations to the press on Tuesday (October 15th) for an event that will take place on October 22nd, with the world-famous brand confirming it has a "lot to cover" at the proceedings.

    New versions of the iPad will compete against Amazon's latest Kindle Fire, as well as several gadgets designed by Samsung.

    The latest tablet, the iPad Air is expected to feature lighter and thinner designs, along with more powerful processors, in order to attract customers who may have been tempted to purchase products from a rival brand.

  • Memory pill 'could do away with forgotten passwords'

    Logging on to social media websites and online banking services from a smartphone, laptop or tablet is an everyday task for most consumers, so it is not surprising some people forget their passwords on a regular basis.

    But the launch of a new pill could make this a thing of the past.

    Scientists in the US said a new wonder capsule that contains a minute chip transmitting a person's individual details can then be picked up by electronic devices, ending the need for passwords and paper forms of identification.

    The tablet, which has already been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration and European regulators, could make recalling security answers and other mundane tasks a thing of the past.

    Its ingestible sensor is powered by a battery that utilises acid in the wearer's stomach.

    India has overtaken the US in being the 2nd largest smart phone market due to amazing annual growth.

    The country’s smart phone market is estimated at increasing at a rate of 23% through to 2018.   • British Airways Allows Usage of Electronic Devices on Flights After Travelling

    International carrier British Airways is set to become the first European airline to let passengers switch on their smartphones and other devices shortly after landing.
